This Saturday, July 12th the Stone Zoo will be having enrichment day. If your kids have ever asked you why there were balls, spinner toys, and other items in the exhibits now is the chance to get answers. Throughout the day guests will be able to see the zookeepers deliver and explain toys specially designed for the animals. The enrichment can be offered in many different ways from smells, sounds, and foods to boxes, bags, and toys. The environmental enrichment encourages the animals to use their natural abilities.
