Fourth Of July a Day Early

With looming Hurricane Arthur authorites have made the decision to move all the fireworks displays in their communities. Most communities have moved their fireworks to Saturday the 5th, but Boston has decided to move the fireworks to tonight July 3rd. 
In Boston Storrow Drive will be closed at noon. 
The Mass Ave. Bridge will be closed at 6p.m.
Most roads and tunnels in the Boston area will be closed by 6.p.m. These include:
Berkley Street from Beacon Street to Back Street.
Clardeon Street from Beacon Street.
Back Street from Dartmouth Street to Mugar Way.
Beacon Street from Arlington Street to Mass. Ave.
Fairfield Street from Comm. Ave. to Back Street.
Mass Ave. from Comm. Ave. to City of Cambridge including the Mass. Ave. Bridge.
Longfellow Bridge and Memorial Drive.
The Esplanade itself will not be open to the public until 5p.m.
People coming into Boston are urged to take public transportation, but are urged to be patient as it is expected to be congested. 

Community Fireworks that have been moved include:
Danvers which will be moved to Plains Park on Saturday July, 5th.
North Reading will be moved to Ipswich River Park on Saturday July, 5th.
Marblehead will be moved to July 5th.
Lynn and Swampscott firworks will be moved to July 6th.
